Community Guidelines

Admins (employees of our nonprofit customers) have control over the content (copy, images, emojis, videos) in their GiveMagic Community. Admins should use their discretion in determining what is appropriate for their community and who receives access to push content to the community. We also ask that admins respect members time and use discretion in determining communication frequency. GiveMagic can remove a cause from the platform if the cause is in contravention of the community rules or otherwise found to be abusing or misusing the platform.

Community Rules
Nonprofits that fund hate speech such as attacks on people based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or serious medical conditions, are not welcomed on the platform. Nonprofits that are found to be in contravention of the Benefits and Content policy below can also be removed from the platform.

‍Benefits and Content
‍Ultimately, you know your community best and should get creative when determining how to encourage community members to engage and give. However, there are limits. Benefits and Content that are not allowed include:

- Drugs or drug paraphernalia or images and/or videos of usage.
- Medication or food supplements such as weight loss, energy boost or miracle cures.
- Weapons and explosives or pictures and/or videos of them and their use (including instructional videos).
- Alcohol and smoking substances (or promotions or gift cards to purchase alcohol and smoking substances).
